Syndicated radio host and Tyscot recording artist Lonnie Hunter informed listeners that his radio show will come to an end on September 21st. “It’s time for a change,” Hunter says of his exit that’s been in the plans for weeks. “I’ve loved doing the show, interviewing artists and playing the Battle of the Sexes and Clues & Categories games with the audience; but I’ve got lots of other new and exciting adventures on the horizon that I’m about to get off the ground.”
The Stellar Award winning artist and Pastor of Worship for New Jersey Bishop David Evans’ Bethany Baptist Church is preparing for the release of He’s Worthy, the new single from his Billboard top 5 charting CD #GETITDONE. Hunter will make his final appearance on October 17th in Los Angeles as host of this year’s McDonalds Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour and has signed on for hosting duties as the tour celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2016. Plans are in the works for Hunter to transition to television with details on the show and format to come in the near future.
